From our Family Historian we know the last Elbourn who lived in Little Shelford was :- 

John Elbourn, baptised 19.08.1804 Little Shelford, married Mary Gifford and had children Caroline bap.21.11.1832, Harriet bap. 24.08.1834 and Arthur bap.15.11.1835.

​

Our Great Great Grandfather was Arthur, who arrived in Australia with his cousins William, Joseph and their families aboard the “John Bunyan” sailing from Liverpool on 27.10.1857. He married Susanna Stock and lived in Canowindra NSW where he died 17.06.1902.

The 1841 Census shows John Elbourn and family living at House O17 Little Shelford whilst the 1851 Census shows him, a farm labourer, living in Newton Road Little Shelford.
